The Chemistry Council of Missouri (CCM) was organized more than 40 years ago as the Chemical Council of St. Louis.  In 1983, the organization expanded to represent the industry statewide and became known as the Chemistry Council of Missouri.  The Chemistry Council is a state association that functions in cooperation with the American Chemistry Council.

CCM's membership is composed of large and small manufacturers and other affiliates of the chemical industry who work together for continuous improvement through advocacy, education, communication, support and promotion of Responsible Care.

CCM is the only professional organization in the state that has as its primary goal the promotion, advancement and protection of the interest of the chemical industry and its related industries.
